Connected Chemistry Curriculum

Project Description


The Connected Chemistry Curriculum (CCC) project is a design-based research project that explores how digital visualization tools can support student learning and teacher practice. Together with our teacher partners throughout Chicagoland, we examine how students take up the representational practices of science and investigate emergent phenomena in chemistry. We are particularly interested in how drawing activities coupled together with dynamic visualizations help students develop robust mental models of invisible processes at the core of science curriculum.
