Katie chose LSRI because it offers a unique environment that permits learning scientists and psychologists to work side-by-side to answer the toughest learning-related questions. When she isn’t studying irish dance or singing a capella, Katie works on Project READI, a $19 million-federal grants that looks at how to improve a student’s ability to create academic arguments using multiple kinds of texts across the subjects they study in school.
