Toolkits
The Institute contains spaces designed for conducting research, teaching both face-to-face and online, developing multi-media educational resources, working collaboratively, and convening meetings and running conferences related to our mission.
The Institute also has a full-time administrative staff to support UIC faculty and researchers pursuing external funding, both pre- and post-award, for projects related to our mission. Principal Investigators of successful external grants administered by LSRI receive ICR distributions calculated at 8% of the ICR returned to LSRI in a fiscal year. Any UIC faculty, staff or student interested in learning about and working with these technologies can take advantage of the resources of the Realization Lab.
Additionally, we’re actively seeking to collaborate with individuals from other institutes of higher learning, museums, from corporate settings, and nonprofits.

The LSRI has a library of technology equipment available for checkout to members of the community.
Research Lab Heading link
Adjacent to the technology equipment checkout room is a lab for conducting research. The lab can be configured in multiple ways to best suit your needs. This room holds up to 25 individuals.
