LSRI Co-director James Pellegrino, one of the nation’s leading cognitive scientists, will be speaking on three panels at the June 19 national conference sponsored by the Council of Chief State School Officers in Maryland.
This year, the conference focuses on student assessment. Pellegrino’s presentations include one on a new and important set of five features that define the elements of assessment systems that can fully measure the Common Core State Standards and support the evaluation of deeper learning, work that has emerged from a recent national consensus.
