About
Annie has a passion for working with teachers to give all students an equitable and high-quality mathematics education. In 2010, she was a middle school math teacher and participated in MCMI (then WMCI) teacher-leader professional development and has been involved with the initiative ever since, learning and collaborating with the team. She was excited to officially join the MCMI team in 2021. As a facilitator of professional learning, through a variety of organizations as well as local and national conferences, she has worked with hundreds of teachers to connect and reflect on their practice. Annie brings experience to professional learning from her 12 years in the classroom as well as 5 years coaching and serving as a district math coordinator. She is also past president of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics and a Desmos fellow.
